Walnut prefinished hardwood flooring and wood paneling is an old favorite of proven worth. Use a 4 brush and start in the corner furthest from the door. Hardwood floor finishes have varying levels of ease durability even glossiness. Walnut flooring is available in different colors depending on the stain and finish.

For example you can put a bleach treatment on walnut to make it lighter almost whitewashed in appearance or add a dark stain to make it even darker. Wait two hours for the first coat to dry before applying another. Give the varnish a really good stir and test the colour on a small patch to make sure you re happy with it. Walnut hardwood floors are very strong with excellent dimensional stability.

Make sure the finish dries before you bring your furniture into the room and place it on your new walnut flooring. The varnish dries in just 30 minutes and will cover up to 18 m per litre on average.
