Table rock lake is a gorgeous deep clear lake that provides excellent fishing for all species. It is also known for outstanding year round fishing and has a great abundance of all four species of bass largemouth small mouth spotted bass and mean mouth bass. We also caught a boat load of these large bluegill and about 50 spotted bass. Contours hot spots access points bottom structure provided by fishing hot spots.

Table rock lake also offers good fishing for walleye white bass and even rainbow trout. Table rock lake has many underwater habitats for walleye. Recently there has been a significant number of anglers bow fishing on table rock lake for rough fish such as carp and drum. Good populations of walleye are also present in the kings river arm and upper portions of the white river arm.

When the lake was built they never cleared the trees and other deadfall under the water which has made a nice home for walleye. Bluegill are feisty fish that are also pretty easy and fun to reel in. If you re planning to visit table rock lake with the family this is a great first catch to target. You can find them around the entire shoreline and they re especially plentiful when it comes to those hot summer months.

It is rated one of the top 10 bass fishing lakes in the united states. Walleye catch rates in the 2019 spring electrofishing surveys in the kings river were the highest ever recorded. The shad in the lake allows the walleye to feed and grow to good sized fish. Good numbers of quality sized fish in the 7 to 9 inch range exist.
